Taylor Ball is a skilled professional with extensive experience in laboratory automation and genomic profiling. Currently serving as the Manager of Process Engineering at Foundation Medicine since May 2015, Taylor has progressed from Automation Engineer to Lead Automation Engineer, providing technical support for advanced liquid handling platforms and enhancing automated workflows for process optimization. Previously, Taylor held the roles of Molecular Technologist I, II & III, performing NGS and contributing to the implementation of the first FDA-approved NGS assay. Taylor's earlier experience includes working as a Clinical Laboratory Technician at Boston Heart Diagnostics, specializing in HDL subpopulation analysis, and performing compliance audits, along with a tenure as Inventory Project Manager/Building Estimate Analyst at Ball & Boyd Public Adjusters Inc. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Syracuse University.
