Ryck Birch has extensive experience in technical and business consulting, as well as leadership roles in software engineering and architecture. Ryck has served as a Principal Software Engineer and Team Lead at Foundation Medicine, where they managed a team of 20+ professionals and played a key role in shaping architecture and technology implementation. Prior to this, Ryck was a Lead Software Engineer at The Predictive Index, where they provided technical leadership and managed a SCRUM team of developers. Ryck also has experience as an Enterprise Architect and IT Business Consultant at Sagent Lending Technologies, where they designed and implemented a cloud-based REST API gateway. Additionally, Ryck has worked as an Architect and Business Process Improvement consultant at Interactive Support Resources, LLC, specializing in mortgage loan processing and API management. Ryck has also held roles at ClearCadence, OpenText, Trinity Technologies, The Boston Consulting Group, and XTRA Corporation, further enhancing their expertise in architecture, consulting, and IT management.

Ryck Birch obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Information Systems with honors from Bentley University from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they studied Japanese Studies and earned a B.A from Colgate University between 1981 and 1985.
