Jun Takao is a Senior Automation Engineer at Foundation Medicine since January 2019, focusing on cross-platform integration, high throughput upscale innovations, and data analysis for NGS in RNA and DNA, as well as solid tumors and liquid biopsies. Previously, Takao held various roles at Pfizer from November 2012 to January 2019, advancing from Associate Scientist to Senior Associate Scientist, where responsibilities included robotics programming, assay development, safety auditing, and training junior scientists under cGMP and cGLP standards. Takao's expertise encompasses automation in cancer research and efficient data management for personalized treatments through whole genome sequencing. Jun Takao began a career in 2007 as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
