Ian A. Cook, MD DLFAPA FCTMSS is the CEO and Founder of Los Angeles TMS Institute, Inc., where advanced treatment options for depression and other disorders, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and the SAINT protocol, are provided. Cook serves as Vice President of the Foundation for the Advancement of Clinical TMS and has held various academic positions at UCLA Health System since 1990, culminating in the role of Professor Emeritus in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences. Additional contributions include a tenure as Chief Translational Innovation Officer at the Semel Institute, founding the TMS Service at UCLA, and serving as Chief Medical Officer of NeuroSigma, Inc. Cook is actively involved with the Clinical TMS Society and has co-founded HeartCloud, Inc. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Yale School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University.
