Kwesi Edwards is a Principal Go to Market Specialist at Amazon Web Services (AWS), bringing to the Foundation's Board of Directors over a decade of experience in business technology.

In his current role and in past opportunities with Oracle and Informatica, he has worked to inspire the efficient use of information technology to drive business results for a variety of organizations including educational institutions, Fortune 500 companies, and startups. For more than ten years, Mr. Edwards’ work focused on bringing enterprise technology to colleges and universities, which gave him a deep understanding of Student Information Systems and usage across the California Community Colleges.

Mr. Edwards also plays a key role on Amazon West’s Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Team and supports the company’s efforts to increase representation of underrepresented groups at AWS and in partner and customer groups. He has a passion for increasing equity in higher education to help us build a more diverse, successful workforce, and has joined the Foundation’s Board of Directors Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Committee to help the organization achieve its mission.

Mr. Edwards received his BSE In Information System Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
