Dana Berggren is a Functional Consultant at Foundant Technologies. Prior to their current position, Dana served as the Assistant Director of the Center for Community-Based Learning at Central College from August 2018 to May 2019. In this role, Dana was responsible for managing the Community Foundation's application-based grants and scholarship programs, working with development staff and donors to establish strong scholarship programs, and supporting and connecting with volunteer committee members.

Before their time at Central College, Dana worked as a Grants Management Specialist at the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend from August 2013 to December 2017. In this role, Dana managed the Community Foundation's application-based grants and scholarship programs, worked with development staff and donors to establish strong scholarship programs, and supported and connected with volunteer committee members.

Dana began their career in higher education as an Administrative Assistant for Residence Life at Kansas State University Housing and Dining Services from August 2010 to May 2012. In this role, Dana was responsible for managing the daily operations of the residence hall, supervising a team of student staff members, and coordinating programming and events for resident students.

In January 2018, Dana decided to become a freelance writer for nonprofit organizations and continued to do so until December 2018. During this time, Dana wrote articles for various publications and helped nonprofit organizations with their grant writing needs.

Dana is a dedicated professional with a passion for helping others. Dana has a proven track record of success in both their previous roles and their current role as a Functional Consultant at Foundant Technologies.

Dana Berggren completed their undergraduate studies at Kansas State University, where they majored in Family Studies and Human Services with a focus on Nonprofit Management and Business Administration. Dana then went on to obtain their Certified Nonprofit Professional certification from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
