Renate Mariel Meleng Blomseth has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Renate began their career in 2009 as a Butikkmedarbeider at Shell, where they worked part-time alongside their high school studies. Renate then worked as an Eventyrer at Kongeparken, ensuring safety on various attractions and creating memorable experiences for guests.

In 2013, Renate joined Posten Norge as a Postbud, where they sorted and distributed mail while pursuing their bachelor's degree. Renate also held a summer job at Kongeparken during this time.

After completing their studies, Renate joined Garøbær kommune in 2016 as an Anleggsgartner, performing various gardening tasks in the municipality's green areas and national park. Renate also worked as a Hyttevakt for Den Norske Turistforening, where they provided assistance to guests at Helberghytta, a self-service tourist cabin.

In the same year, Renate started working at RJUKAN FJELLSTUE Tor Nicolaysen as a Servicemedarbeider, undertaking responsibilities such as serving in the restaurant, cleaning cabins and hotel rooms, and handling reception duties. Renate had an additional engagement at RJUKAN FJELLSTUE Tor Nicolaysen as a hyttevakt on Helberghytta, distributing sleeping places and assisting guests.

Renate's most recent role is as an Operations Coordinator at FotoWare, where they started in November 2020.

Renate Mariel Meleng Blomseth began their education in 2009 at Finnfjordbotn Videregående Skole, where they completed their studies specializing in studies. Renate then enrolled at the University of Stavanger from 2012 to 2015, earning a Bachelor's degree in Reiselivsledelse (Tourism Management). In 2012, Renate also spent a semester at Globalstudies in Cambodia, pursuing a first semester of their Bachelor's degree in Reiselivsledelse with a focus on responsible tourism. Continuing their education, they attended the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NIH) from 2015 to 2016, completing a one-year program in Friluftslivsfag (Outdoor Life Studies).
