Jeffrey Shattuck is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the field of optical and laser technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist and Program Manager at FORWARD PHOTONICS since December 2016, Jeffrey previously contributed as a Laser Engineer at TeraDiode, Inc. from November 2014 to December 2016. Jeffrey's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Boston University, where involvement spanned from 2004 to 2012, including a role as a Graduate Student focused on time-resolved vibrational spectroscopy and laser system design. Earlier research experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at the Boston University Photonics Center, where development of the Compact Optical Bio-threat Rapid Analyzer (COBRA) was a key project, encompassing multivariate chemometric analysis and MATLAB programming for advanced instrumentation.
