Kyle Beste, FSA, CERA, currently serves as AVP of Finance Actuarial Judgments at Fortitude Re, a position held since August 2021. Prior experience includes a decade at Unum, where roles encompassed Director and Associate Actuary focused on various aspects of Voluntary A&H Pricing and Asset Liability Management. Key responsibilities included asset modeling for reserve adequacy discount rates, cash flow testing, and pricing model development on the Prophet platform. Additional roles at Unum involved Long Term Care Valuation and Enterprise Risk Management. Kyle Beste began the actuarial career as an intern at Lewis & Ellis, contributing to Medicare/Medicaid bid evaluations. Educationally, Kyle Beste holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Science from Clemson University.
