Karen Farrell, FSA, serves as Associate Vice President of Inforce Management and Associate Vice President of Capital Management at Fortitude Re since December 2021. Previously, Karen held the position of Associate Director & Actuary at AIG from September 2015 to June 2020. Prior to this, Karen worked at Great-West Financial in various roles including Senior Corporate Actuarial Associate, Senior Corporate Financial Analyst, and Actuarial Analyst from May 2010 to September 2015. Karen began their career as a Mathematics Instructor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder from September 2007 to May 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder (2007-2009) and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from St. Mary's College of Maryland (2003-2007).
