Omri Misgav is an experienced security researcher currently serving as the Head of the Security Research Group at Fortinet since 2023. Previously, Omri held the position of CTO of the Security Research Group at Fortinet from 2020 to 2022 and was the Security Research Team Leader and Security Researcher at enSilo from 2016 to 2020 before its acquisition by Fortinet. Omri's experience in cybersecurity began at the Israeli Ministry of Defense, where roles included Lead Malware Researcher and R&D Team Leader from 2012 to 2015, as well as Software Developer from 2009 to 2011. Additional early experience includes a brief tenure as a Software Developer at Aladdin in 2009. Omri holds an education from Basmach - IDF School of Computer Science in 2009 and Dror High School from 2005 to 2008.
