Ben Leslie has a diverse work experience starting in 2018 as an intern at Standard Life Aberdeen. In 2019, they interned at Wood before joining abrdn as a Graduate Business Analyst. At abrdn, Ben completed four 6-month rotations in Investment Technology Solutions, with their first rotation focused on improving batch processing performance using SQL and Power BI. Ben then transitioned to a role as a Product Owner before joining Forth Point | A Blend360 Company in 2022. At Forth Point, Ben currently holds the position of Business Intelligence Consultant, and they will soon be promoted to Senior Business Intelligence Consultant.

Ben Leslie attended Robert Gordon University from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained two certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate from Microsoft in September 2022 and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals in March 2020.
