Tim Strafford is an accomplished leader in the motorsport and automotive industries, currently serving as the Managing Director of Motorsport and Chief Innovation Officer at Fortescue Zero since January 2024. Prior experience includes being an Independent Consultant for Engineering Strategy at Agratas, Chief Executive Officer at Envisage Group Limited, and various roles at McLaren Applied Technologies, including Automotive Director and Head of Business Development. Early career positions at McLaren Electronic Systems and McLaren Racing involved significant contributions to control systems engineering, including the development of key technologies for Formula One. Tim holds a degree in Automotive Engineering from Loughborough University and completed the McLaren Leadership Programme at Cambridge Judge Business School.
