Parveen Bauer is an experienced environmental management professional with a robust background in environmental approvals and compliance. Currently serving as Manager of Environment, Approvals and Closure at Fortescue since August 2020, Parveen has previously held roles such as Manager, Environmental Licensing and Senior Environmental Approvals at the same company. Prior to this, Parveen managed environmental initiatives at VHM Limited and served in senior positions at Karara Mining Ltd and Gindalbie Metals. Renowned for leading the preparation of Environmental Effects Statements and developing Environmental Management Systems, Parveen has effectively engaged with local communities and stakeholders regarding social and environmental impacts. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from Curtin University, completed between 1997 and 1999.
