Cecilia Torres has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Cecilia started their career as a Credit Analyst at BNP Paribas in 2005 and then transitioned to Deutsche Bank as an Associate in Investment Banking. In 2010, they joined KPMG Corporate Finance as a Manager, focusing on M&A transactions in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. During their time at KPMG, Cecilia played a key role in significant deals such as the sale of BBC Magazines and Huveaux Plc's Education division. In 2013, they became the Head of Corporate Development at AXIO Data Group, where they led numerous acquisitions and disposals across various countries. Following that, Cecilia joined MMC Ventures as an Investment Director, leading their seed investment in Current Health. Most recently, they served as the VP of Corporate Development at Platform.sh before taking on the role of VP of M&A for Western Europe at Forterro starting in 2023.

Cecilia Torres obtained their Bachelor's degree in Finance from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL in the period of 2000-2004. Cecilia then pursued a Master's degree (DESS) in International Business and Finance from the same institution during 2004-2005. Additionally, they participated in an exchange program at Boston University in 2003.
