Diego Cortés has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering. Diego began their career in 2009, working as a Developer at Ariadna CDI. Diego then moved on to Newshore as a .Net Analyst for a brief period in 2012. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a JEE Developer at ADV S.A. Diego then returned to Ariadna, this time as a Software Developer from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, they joined Tambourine, where they served as a Back-end Developer and was responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting a custom CMS using technologies such as PHP, Eloquent, Node.js, Vue.js, and related stack. From 2017 to 2018, Diego worked as a Back-end Developer at Ilumno. Diego then joined Jobsity in 2019 as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they took on the role of Senior Software Engineer at Splash in 2019 and is currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Forte Group from 2023 onwards. Overall, Diego Cortés has demonstrated expertise in various software development roles throughout their career.

Diego Cortés completed their degree in Ingeniería en sistemas y computación with a specialization in Ingeniería de software from Universidad de Caldas in 2013. In 2015, they pursued a diploma in administración de bases de datos Oracle from Fundación de egresados Universidad Distrital. Additionally, in 2012, they obtained a diploma in arquitectura de software from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Prior to their university education, Diego Cortés completed a technical program in mantenimiento de hardware from Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) in 2008. Diego also obtained a certification as a .Net web developer from Fundación Emtelsa in 2008. Furthermore, in 2016, Diego Cortés obtained several certifications from IMS Internet Media Services, including IMS Certification on Apple iAd, IMS Certification on EA, IMS Certification on LinkedIn, IMS Certification on Spotify, IMS Certification on Twitter, IMS Certification on Vevo, and IMS Certification on Waze.
