Heather Krebs serves as the Director of Budgeting at Fort Wayne Community Schools since March 2013, where responsibilities include managing the district's budget and creating budgetary guidelines to optimize financial resources. Previously, as the Coordinator of Program Controls, Krebs oversaw a $378 million REPAIR bond-funded renovation initiative, handling project budgets, cash flow projections, and compliance with public purchasing regulations, while also implementing project management software and participating in referendum campaigns. Prior experience includes production management at Keepsake Threads, LLC, and a principal role at MSKTD & Associates, specializing in project and contract administration, estimating, and scheduling. Heather Krebs holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, completed in 2000.
