Jim Sparrow is an experienced arts administrator and musician with a strong background in leadership roles within cultural organizations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Fort Wayne Ballet since August 2018, Jim previously held the position of President and CEO at The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County from October 2013 to August 2018. Prior roles include Executive Director, Director of Development, and Education Specialist at Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne, Inc. from October 1998 to September 2013, and Principal Clarinetist at Fort Wayne Philharmonic from October 1988 to December 1997. Jim holds a Bachelor of Music from Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Music, as well as additional coursework at Indiana University Indianapolis.
