Torie Marquez, M.Ed, currently serves as the Director of Technology at Fort Sam Houston ISD, a position held since June 2022. Previously, Marquez held the role of Assistant Director of Instructional Technology at NEISD, where responsibilities included designing technology initiatives and providing professional development for staff. Marquez's experience also encompasses serving as an Instructional Specialist for Secondary Social Studies and an Academic Technology IST at Northside ISD, focusing on equitable learning experiences and coaching strategies. Early career roles included educator and athletic coach at Fort Sam Houston ISD, and a summer internship in member relations at USAA. Marquez holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master’s Degree in Education from Concordia University Texas, and an Instructional Leadership Certification from Lamar University.
