Kristina Allen has over three decades of experience in education, serving as a Special Education Teacher at Fort Madison Community School District since August 1990. Throughout this tenure, Kristina has worked primarily at the elementary level for 13 years, transitioned to the 6th grade from 2003 to 2013, and has been teaching at the 5th and 6th grade levels since 2013. Prior to this role, Kristina worked part-time at Burlington Public Library from September 1984 to August 1989 during high school and junior college. Kristina holds a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) in Special Education from Western Illinois University, completed a certificate program in Elementary Education at the University of Iowa, and furthered professional development at Capella University from 2009 to 2013.
