Alexander Breland holds a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor's degree in the same field. Additionally, Alexander is trained as a Naval Officer from the Royal Danish Naval Academy. Professional experience includes serving as Sektionschef and Projektleder at Forsvarsministeriets Ejendomsstyrelse since September 2022, Kaptajnløjtnant at Søværnets Reserve since July 2016, and Landskabsarkitekt at Arkitema Architects until September 2022. Previous roles include Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Copenhagen, Studentermedhjælper at STED cph, Student Assistant and Intern at SLA A/S, and various positions at Forsvaret.
