Lorns Harald Bakstad is a Research Manager at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt (FFI) since August 2002, specializing in combat vehicles, dismounted soldier systems, unmanned ground vehicles, and unmanned aerial vehicles. Previously, Lorns worked as a Scientist focusing on unmanned aerial vehicles at the same institute and held the position of MWD engineer at Baker Hughes INTEQ from January 2001 to July 2002. Lorns completed advanced military operations training at Forsvarets høgskole in 2017 and earned a Master of Science degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1995 and 2000.
