Carlo Schmidt is a seasoned professional in product management and education, currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Formative since November 2021. Prior to this role, Carlo held the position of Senior Product Manager at WorkBoard Inc. and was the Director of Product Management at Illuminate Education, Inc., where significant contributions included leading product discovery for a $110MM+ offering. Carlo also gained extensive experience as the Director of Data and Assessment at KIPP Colorado Schools, overseeing assessment data management and strategy execution for a nationwide network of schools, and served as Assistant Principal at Believe Southside Charter High School, managing academic guidance and staff supervision. Carlo holds a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and German from Trinity University.
