Frances Coronel has a diverse range of work experience in the tech industry. Frances is currently working as a Software Engineering Mentor at Formation, specializing in technical behavioral mock interview prep sessions. Frances also operates their own company, Frances Coronel LLC, where they provide services such as speaking engagements, technical mentorship, and freelance web development. Frances has been freelancing since May 2015 and continues to earn income through various avenues. Previously, Frances worked as a Lead Instructor at Fullstack Academy, teaching frontend foundations to Amazon fulfillment employees. Frances also served as a Software Engineering Mentor at Springboard, mentoring a student from their Amazon Career Choice partnership. Frances has held the position of Senior Software Engineer at JupiterOne, where they worked on the compliance team and contributed to the development and implementation of new features. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Byteboard, a startup focused on recreating the technical interview experience. Frances has also worked at Slack as a Software Engineer, where they utilized their deep understanding of web technologies to improve the platform. Frances Coronel has a strong educational background that includes a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Cornell Tech, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Hampton University, attending from 2014 to 2016. Frances also participated in a study abroad program at Jacobs University Bremen in 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science.
