Nicolas Laurent serves as the executive director at FORIM - réseau des diasporas solidaires since September 2017, overseeing administrative and financial management, team leadership, advocacy, and program coordination. Concurrently, Nicolas also holds the position of administrator at Coordination SUD since September 2017. Previously, from October 2007 to July 2017, Nicolas was the general delegate at Ingénieurs sans frontières (ISF) France, where responsibilities included financial management, team guidance, project coordination, and strategic planning. Additional roles as administrator were held at CRID and Comité Français pour la Solidarité Internationale during the same period. Earlier experience includes a project officer role at Gescod, focusing on decentralized cooperation projects in Madagascar, Senegal, and Haiti, and a program officer position at Enda Tiers Monde, where Nicolas managed urban development projects and capacity building. Nicolas holds a DEA in International Economic Law and Development from Université Paris Cité and additional degrees from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris-Pantheon-Assas University.
