Kevin Mandia is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in cybersecurity and threat intelligence. Currently, Mandia serves as Co-Founder and Strategic Partner at Ballistic Ventures and Chief Executive Officer at Mandiant, roles held since December 2021 and October 2021, respectively. Previously, Mandia held significant leadership positions at FireEye, Inc. as CEO and SVP & COO from December 2013 to September 2021, and was the CEO and Founder of Mandiant Corporation from 2004 to 2013. Additional experience includes directorial roles at Foundstone and Sytex/Lockheed Martin, and service as a Special Agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Mandia's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Lafayette College and a Master of Science in Forensic Science from The George Washington University, complemented by an education at Harvard Business School.
