Evangelos Simoudis is an experienced entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as the Founder and Managing Director of Synapse Partners since May 2015, where the focus is on investing in early-stage startups in enterprise software AI applications and advising corporations on AI strategies. Simoudis holds advisory positions at Caltech and New York University's C2SMART, contributing to discussions on urban transportation challenges. Previous leadership roles include Chair of the Board of Directors at Amobee and Senior Managing Director at Trident Capital. Simoudis has been involved in multiple successful investments, having served as Partner at Apax Partners with a proven track record of backing companies that have been acquired by major corporations such as HP, Cisco, and IBM. A graduate of Caltech with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Brandeis University with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Simoudis brings a strong educational background to a diverse career in technology and investment.
