Patryk Tomaszewski currently serves as a Joan Tisch Teaching Fellow at the Whitney Museum of American Art, focusing on object-based pedagogy and leading tours and programming related to the museum's collection. In addition to this role, Patryk has been an Adjunct Lecturer in Art History at the Borough of Manhattan Community College since August 2016, teaching courses on Renaissance to Modern Art and Modern and Contemporary Art. Prior experience includes the Mellon Humanities Alliance Graduate Teaching Fellowship at LaGuardia Community College, research volunteering at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and assistant roles at the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, and The Museum of Modern Art. Patryk holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and German from Fordham University, a Master of Arts in History of Art and Archaeology, and both a Master of Philosophy and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Art History from The Graduate Center, City University of New York.
