Andrea Bourke is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical design and component engineering. Currently serving as Advanced Lead Engineer at GE Aerospace since March 2020, Andrea previously held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer at ABB, where research and development focused on electrification products. Andrea's career at GE began with the Edison Engineering Development Program, which included two years as a Mechanical Component Engineer working on electrical distribution products. Early experience included leadership roles at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, as a Washburn Shops PLA and Student Sustainability Coordinator. Andrea holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Architectural Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
