Luis Cortes is an experienced digital engineer currently employed at Ford Motor Company since November 2017, where responsibilities include designing communication links and improving signal integrity using CAD software. Prior roles include hardware development engineer contracting, providing hands-on testing and debugging for digital subsections, and an electrical engineer position at CellAntenna Corp., where technical support and training were provided to international customers. Additional experience includes internships at BlackBerry focusing on wireless hardware and RF verification, as well as a graduate research assistantship at Florida Atlantic University, leading projects on Wi-Fi tracking systems and remote plant monitoring. Luis holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University.
