Ryan Desmarais has extensive experience in editorial roles, currently serving as Senior Editor/Trainer at Community.co since July 2019, and as an Associate Editor with both Forbes Technology Council and Forbes Communications Council. Prior to these roles, Ryan held positions at IJR - Independent Journal Review as Senior Publishing Editor, where responsibilities included leading editorial teams and managing conflicts, and at Bleacher Report as a Staff Copy Editor and Publishing Editor. Ryan's career began as a Copy Editing Intern and evolved through various writing and editorial positions, including Freelance Content Writer at Skyword Inc. and Owner/Writer/Editor at State of the Celtics. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of New Hampshire and a Certificate in Bible/Biblical Studies from the Word of Life Bible Institute.
