Brian Marion has extensive work experience in application development and management, spanning over several companies. Brian began their career at Anixter as a Programmer II, where they developed client-server applications and web sites using various technologies. Brian then joined Platinum Technologies as a Senior Programmer, where they developed the services accounting system and provided technical guidance to the team.

Brian then moved on to CA Technologies, where they held multiple roles. As a Senior Applications Developer, they provided delivery and support for all services and pre-sales applications. Later, they served as a Principal Application Developer/Extended Application Development Technical Lead, overseeing the delivery and support of multiple systems across the organization. In their last role at CA Technologies, they served as the Principal Application Developer/Enterprise 2.0 Program Technical Lead, with responsibilities including the implementation of the corporate content management system and leading a global team.

Currently, Brian is employed at Footprint Solutions, where they started as a Senior Application Developer and then progressed to Manager and Director of Application Development. In these roles, they oversaw the delivery and support of custom systems for in-store servicing needs, utilizing Microsoft technologies. Additionally, they personally designed and implemented a mobile solution for in-store activity reporting using Microsoft technologies and Xamarin.

Brian Marion attended North Central College from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
