Hugo Scheckter is the Founder and Managing Director of The Player Care Group, the UK’s first consultancy focused on Player Care, Team Operations, and Player Wellbeing, established in December 2020. Scheckter serves on the Board of Trustees for Football Beyond Borders, a youth charity dedicated to social change through football, and worked as a Player Care Consultant for Newcastle United Football Club and Deportivo Toluca FC. Additionally, Scheckter held the role of Football Development Officer and 2nd XI Manager at Stonewall FC, enhancing the club's inclusivity and competitiveness. Prior to these roles, Scheckter served as Head of Player Care at West Ham United FC and as Player/Team Liaison Officer at Southampton Football Club, where responsibilities included player welfare and operational management. Educational credentials include a BBA in Sport, Event, and Hospitality Management from The George Washington University School of Business.
