Terje Nygård has extensive work experience in the field of software development and IT consulting. Terje is currently working as the Product Chief and Co-Founder at Foody AS since June 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at bspoke AS as a Senior Web Developer from April 2019 to June 2020.

Terje also worked at Making Waves as a Senior Software Developer from August 2011 to April 2019, where they gained expertise in web development using technologies like C#, ASP. NET, Front-End development, Node.JS, and VUE.

Before that, they worked at Induct Software as a Senior Application and Web Developer from December 2006 to August 2011. Here, they gained experience in integrating Enterprise 2.0 technology and social networking concepts with a customizable innovation process management framework.

Terje has also worked as a System Developer at CMA Asset Management in 2007, an App. Developer at Politiet from August 2003 to December 2006, an Application Developer at Kripos (NCIS Norway) from 2002 to 2006, an IT Consultant at TopTemp IT from January 2002 to January 2003, an IT Consultant at Elan IT from January 2001 to January 2002, and as a 2nd line support at Ark/Getronics from January 1998 to January 2001.

Terje Nygård attended The Norwegian School of Information Technology from 1998 to 2001, where they studied Computer Programming. In addition to their degree, Terje also obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In 2012, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD). Terje further enhanced their qualifications by becoming a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer - Web Applications (MCSD) in 2013. Terje's commitment to professional development led him to recertify for the MCSD: Web Applications in October 2015. While the exact institution for this recertification is not specified, the previous certifications were obtained through Microsoft.
