Jamie Duke is an independent management consultant with a unique blend of strategy, technical and hands-on operating experience. Most recently, Jamie spent eleven years as Chief Operating Officer of SciQuest, Inc., a Research Triangle Park, NC based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider of e-procurement and sourcing management solutions. As COO, Jamie was responsible for all product and customer delivery functions, including lean/agile product design and development, implementation consulting, and customer support. Jamie joined the company during its turbulent “post dot-com” phase and was part of the management team that turned around the money-losing venture, eventually building a very profitable SaaS company and completing a successful public offering in 2010. SciQuest is well-known for its industry-leading customer satisfaction.

Jamie has worked in several technology leadership roles, serving as Chief Information Officer of BuildNet, a startup construction materials web technology company; Vice President of Sales and Marketing for NetOriginate, a startup technology endeavor incubated within GE Capital Mortgage; and as Group Vice President for technology and alternative delivery channels for First Citizens Bank. In addition, Jamie spent several years as a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Co. A graduate of Duke University, Jamie also has a Master’s degree from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
