Ryan Alovis

Co-Founder & Board Member at Foodie Card

Ryan Alovis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2006, they founded Magazine Discount Center, which became a leading discount magazine subscription company. In 2016, the company was acquired by Time Inc. and now operates as a division of SynapseConnect.

In 2005, Alovis co-founded the Silver Lining Society Children's Cancer Fund, a fundraising committee dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children with cancer. The committee organizes social events to raise funds and awareness for the Hope & Heroes Children's Cancer Fund at Columbia University Medical Center.

In 2006, Alovis became a partner at The Stella Group, formerly known as ArkNet Media. The group consists of companies in various industries, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.

In 2012, Alovis became a partner at Go Answer, a leading bilingual outsourced contact center that aims to provide personalized customer service.

In 2018, Alovis co-founded Foodie Card, a subscription-based company that offers a 10% discount at participating restaurants while donating meals to those in need through their "Buy A Card, Give A Meal" program. Since its inception, Foodie Card has donated approximately 20,000 meals.

In 2016, Alovis became the Chief Executive Officer of Pulse Health, formerly known as InTouchMD. The company offers products and solutions to power pharmaceutical brands throughout their journey, and was recognized as the most innovative company in healthcare by PM360 in 2016.

In 2009, Alovis became the Chief Executive Officer of LensDirect, a family-owned online retailer of contact lenses and eyewear. The company is known for its award-winning customer service.

In 2021, Alovis took on the role of Co-Founder and Board Member of The Bedtime Chronicles, and aims to contribute to the success of the company.

Throughout their career, Alovis has demonstrated their entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to making a positive impact in various sectors.

Ryan Alovis attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management. In addition, from 2003 to 2004, they studied at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici, where they completed a minor in International Public Relations.
