Clarissa Hayes has extensive experience in child nutrition policy and anti-hunger initiatives, currently serving as Deputy Director of Child Nutrition Programs & Policy at the Food Research & Action Center since February 2015. Prior to this role, Clarissa held various positions, including Senior Child Nutrition Policy Analyst and Child Nutrition Policy Analyst within the same organization. Clarissa's earlier experience includes work as an Anti-Hunger Program Associate at Maryland Hunger Solutions and as an AmeriCorps Team Member with the National Civilian Community Corps. Clarissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as educational experience at the University of Galway in 2009.
