Giles Thompson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in implementation and deployment within the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Implementation Specialist at 2degrees since August 2019, Giles previously held roles in Fonterra as a Platform Release & Deployment Manager and at Vodafone in various capacities, including Release Manager, Release & Deployment Lead, and Deployment Manager for key system upgrades. Early career included roles as a Test Lead and Test Analyst at Vodafone and Logica UK. Giles holds multiple degrees, including a Postgraduate Research degree in Nuclear Physics from The University of Manchester and a Master's degree in Laser and Optical Engineering from the University of St Andrews, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Physics with Astronomy and Astrophysics.
