Laurens Biesmans is a PhD Fellow in Strategic Basic Research at the Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek - Vlaanderen (FWO) since November 2022, focusing on research that enhances scientific knowledge and management practices. Simultaneously, Laurens serves as a PhD Researcher at KU Leuven's Department of Work and Organisation Studies, working on a project aimed at improving the candidate experience during the application process. Previous roles include transcribing for the Spoken Corpus of the Southern-Dutch Dialects at Universiteit Gent and serving as a Community Manager at NOIR SUR BLANC RECORDS. Laurens has also gained marketing experience through internships and student positions at various organizations. Educational qualifications include a PhD candidacy in Business Economics and multiple Master's degrees in Communication Sciences and Corporate Communications from KU Leuven, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from UC Leuven-Limburg.
