Hande Karamahmutoglu currently serves as Vice President of the PhD Society Leuven and is an SB PhD Fellow at Research Foundation Flanders, as well as an Interdisciplinary PhD Researcher at KU Leuven focused on biomimetics and personalized medicine. Previous roles include Senior Supervisor and Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Sabanci University, where involvement included cell culturing, microfluidic chip design, and mentoring students. Hande's educational background includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Sabanci University, complemented by international academic experiences. Research interests encompass biomimetics, organ-on-a-chip technologies, microfluidics, and personalized medicine.
