Charles Nolen has worked in the software development industry since 2005. Charles began their career as an Associate Software Developer at EqualNox Consulting and then moved to LifeNet as a Programmer. In 2006, they joined Dominion Enterprises as a Web Developer. Nolen then worked as a Senior Web Developer at SAIC from 2008 to 2011 and at CSRA Inc from 2011 to 2017. In 2017, they began working at IndraSoft, Inc. as a Senior Web Developer and at Anthem, Inc. as an Engineering Manager. In 2022, they became an Engineering Manager at Follow Up Boss.

Charles Nolen attended Christopher Newport University from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
