Ryan Stanfield serves as the Vice President of Engineering & Operations at Foldax Inc. since November 2022 and holds a longstanding role as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Utah since January 2014. With extensive experience as a Principal Engineer at Stanfield Engineering/Next Dimension Engineering since September 2000, Ryan previously worked as COO at Docbot before its acquisition by SatisfAI Health. Notable prior positions include Director of Engineering at Moog Medical Devices, Vice President of Engineering at VADOVATIONS, INC., and Project Manager/Senior Engineer at World Heart, Inc. Ryan holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Biochemistry from the University of Utah, along with additional degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Japanese from the same institution, and an MS from UC Santa Barbara.
