Hans Trupp has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Hans has been the Owner and Certified Business Coach and Business Development Consultant at FocalPoint Business Performance Coaching since November 2014. Prior to that, they worked as an Owner, Trainer, Business Development Consultant, and Coach at Brian Tracy International from January 2012. In September 2015, they became an Accredited Continuing Education Program Facilitator at XTRAcredits. Additionally, they served as a Licensed Facilitator for Navigational Conversations (Strategic Coaching Skills for Leaders) at Leadscape Learning starting from November 2014.
Previously, Hans was the Principal Owner of Hatchery Consulting, a coaching, consulting, and marketing agency that focused on business improvement and workflow efficiency with emerging technologies. Hans joined Hatchery Consulting in 2007.

Hans managed yachts and crews throughout South America and the South Pacific, specializing in skills and leadership development, vessel and project management, captain and delivery services, and expedition documentation.
In the early years of their career, Hans gained experience as a Coach, Educator, Program Supervisor, and Trainer at NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) from 1991 to 2007. Hans focused on leadership and communication skills, Earth sciences, technical skill sets, and low impact living practices in outdoor education.

Hans Trupp completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a focus on Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences at Georgia Southern University from 1987 to 1991. In 1986 to 1987, they obtained a real estate broker license from the Barney Fletcher School of Real Estate. From 1993 to 1995, they pursued Brewing Technology and gained essential knowledge in Brewing Science and Quality Control at the Siebel Institute of Technology. Hans also has a certification as a Certified Instructor and Guide in Leadership and experiential education from NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) from 1992 to 2001.
In addition to their education, Hans has accumulated a variety of certifications throughout their career. Hans became a Licensed Facilitator of the Navigational Coaching program from Leadscape Learning in July 2015. In January 2015, they obtained FocalPoint Business Coach Certification from FocalPoint. Hans also holds the certification of Certified Value Added Associate from TTI Success Insights since December 2014. Furthermore, Hans has the JIBC Firefighter Level I and II certification from the Justice Institute of British Columbia, acquired in May 2013. Hans is also a Certified Trainer from Brian Tracy International since November 2012.
Hans possesses various outdoor and emergency response certifications. Hans has completed Snow Science Training - Avalanche Awareness - levels 1 and 2 in May 2001 from NOLS - National Outdoor Leadership School. In June 2012, they became an EMA First Responder certified by the British Columbia Ministry of Health. Furthermore, they hold the Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) certification from the National Ski Patrol since April 2010. Hans obtained the Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician (WEMT) certification from NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI) in October 2009. Hans is also certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians since March 2011, and as a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) by NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI) since May 1992.
Lastly, Hans Trupp has additional certifications as an Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America, obtained in May 1984, and as a USCG Master Mariner 100 ton / 250 ton mate by the U.S. Coast Guard, acquired in January 1998. Additionally, they are a certified PADI Dive Master from PADI since March 1989.
