Beyani Zulu has a diverse work experience, spanning from 2007 to the present. Beyani started their career as an Auditor at Grant Thornton, where they audited various projects. Beyani then worked as an Accountant at the Lusaka Stock Exchange, responsible for financial and accounting processes.
Beyani later joined Stanbic Bank, initially as a Risk Assurance Officer and then as a Manager of Operational Risk in the Corporate and Investment Banking division. Beyani eventually became the Head of Operational Risk, where they formulated initiatives to reduce operational risk and provided oversight on risk reporting and analysis.
Currently, Beyani holds the position of Chief Risk Officer at FNB Zambia. In this executive management role, they are responsible for overseeing all risk types and developing strategies to manage the bank's risk profile. Beyani also provides guidance on risk mitigation strategies and ensures consistent application of an integrated risk management framework.
Beyani Zulu completed their High School Certificate in Secondary School Education at Mpelembe Secondary School from 1997 to 2001. Beyani then pursued a Bachelor of Accountancy degree at Copperbelt University in Zambia from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, Beyani obtained a certification in ACCA from ACCA, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
