Irene Barnhoorn is an accomplished professional in impact measurement and investment management, currently serving as an Impact Officer at FMO - Dutch entrepreneurial development bank since June 2022, focusing on the impact measurement of private equity funds. Previously, Irene held positions at Triodos Investment Management, including Product Marketer and Product Manager, where responsibilities involved fund launches, investor due diligence, and the coordination of impact reports. With a foundational background in leadership and economics, Irene has also interned at HEINEKEN and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands, and contributed to initiatives such as supporting female refugees through Enactus. Irene holds a Master's Degree in Sustainability and Management from the University of Bath and a Master's Degree in International Relations from Leiden University, among other academic credentials.
