Krista Suter, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the banking and auditing sectors. Krista started their career as an Audit Manager at SB Hoover & Co, where they managed audits for financial institutions and not-for-profit organizations. Krista then moved on to Premier Community Bankshares, where they served as a Loan Review Officer, conducting loan reviews and providing recommendations for improvements in lending practices. At F&M Bank, they held various roles including AVP Loan Compliance Officer, SVP Senior Risk Officer, and SVP Finance Director. In these positions, they oversaw loan compliance, managed the internal audit department, and prepared financial reports in accordance with accounting and SEC guidelines. Throughout their career, Krista has demonstrated strong expertise in risk management, compliance, and financial analysis.

Krista Suter, CPA, obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from James Madison University, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Following their bachelor's degree, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) after obtaining the certification from the VA Board of Accountancy in October 1999.

Years later, in 2004, Krista pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from Eastern Mennonite University, which they completed in 2006.
