Mugdha Kalra has been in the media industry since 1999, starting their career as a Reporter-Anchor at Zee News. In 2003, they became a News Producer at BBC World Service Trust and a News Anchor at NDTV India, where they were the face of the Breakfast News Show. Mugdha then moved to IBN7, Network 18 as a Senior News Anchor in 2006. From 2007 to 2016, they worked as a Senior News Anchor, News Anchor, and News Anchor at Network18 Media & Investments Limited. In 2019, they joined Rainmaker Online Training Solutions Private Limited as a Writer, where they wrote compliance and training modules on Diversity, Inclusion and PoSH as film scripts. Mugdha also trained in Conduct & Respect for colleagues. In 2021, they became Co-Founder of 'Not That Different', a neurodiversity awareness and acceptance movement, and Chief Content Officer at Bakstage | FLYX.
Mugdha Kalra completed a BA Honors in Journalism from Delhi University between 1997 and 2000. Mugdha then went on to earn a Masters in International Communications from the University of Leeds between 2002 and 2003. In 2007 and 2008, they received a diploma in media laws from the University of NALSAR.
