Fabian Hoehne has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Fabian is currently serving as a Board of Advisors at Vitolus GmbH, a position they have held since August 2022. From August 2020 to August 2022, they were the CEO of the same company, focusing on testing, vaccinating, and protecting lives.
Prior to their current role, Fabian was the Co-Founder & CEO of FLYLA GmbH from October 2016 onwards. FLYLA is a platform exclusively for students to book cheap last-minute flight tickets, utilizing the latest industry standards to reduce costs and provide the best prices. Additionally, FLYLA developed a proprietary recommendation system to personalize destination suggestions for customers.
In 2020, Fabian co-founded Clever Ackern, a platform that assists farmers in finding seasonal workers. This initiative aimed to secure the harvest during the COVID-19 pandemic and was operational from March to April 2020.
Fabian also gained professional experience as a Startup Advisor in the DeltaV Accelerator at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship in 2017. In the same year, they served as a Business Advisor at Sigma Ratings, Inc., the world's first non-credit rating agency specializing in AI and machine learning methods to assess non-credit risks.
Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Fabian worked as a Research Working Student at Assenagon Asset Management in 2015, and as an Intern at Deutsche Bank from March to June 2015. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Managing Partner of SMEXY, where they planned and organized social, charitable, and cultural events. Fabian also developed a strong customer base and implemented a successful social media strategy.
Fabian's earlier experiences include working as a Researcher at Assenagon Asset Management from October 2014 to February 2015, and as an Intern at Pfeifer & Langen GmbH & Co. KG in August and September 2014.
Fabian Hoehne completed their education with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Management and Technology from the Technical University of Munich in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2017.
