Laks Srini currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Flyhomes since June 2024. Previously, Laks co-founded and held the position of CTO at Zerodown, focusing on affordable homeownership solutions in the Bay Area from October 2018 to June 2024. Laks also co-founded Zenefits, serving as CTO from January 2013 to September 2018, specializing in benefits and payroll systems. Earlier experience includes roles as a Software Developer at SigFig and as a Project Leader at D. E. Shaw & Co., where Laks engaged in Microsoft Office automation projects. Early career highlights feature internships at Intel, Covansys, and the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, where projects ranged from developing a paperless information management system to algorithm development for contract signing protocols. Laks holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from PSG College of Technology, completed in 2005.
