Matthew Rygus is an experienced emissions researcher currently working at FluxLab since January 2025, where responsibilities include writing and editing reports for diverse audiences and conducting research on emissions in the oil and gas and waste sectors. Prior to this, Matthew served as a report editor at thinkPARALLAX and held the role of Expert Services Manager and Emissions Analyst at Arolytics, focusing on emissions measurement programs and data analysis. Experience also includes roles as a Sustainability Analyst at QM Environmental, Fellow at Student Energy, and multiple positions concerning environmental research and education at the University of Calgary, City of Airdrie, and IOGC. Matthew holds a Master of Environmental Studies in Sustainability Management from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Calgary.
